the Historical Society of Topsail Island
Please remember NO PETS are permitted on the festival grounds. Service animals specially trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome. The Carolina Band is a musical entertainment group which was established in 1987. Comprised of seasoned musicians (Shawn, Louria, Jamie, Dan and Mike) whose talents have been enjoyed throughout southeastern and central North Carolina. Devoted fans follow this group to share in their versatility and camaraderie.
5 pm – 8 pm
North Tower Band has been one of the south’s great party bands for over 35 years, providing the best in oldies, beach, top 40 and funk. Sizzling brass, super vocals, and a wide ranging repertoire all contribute to making your event a night to remember!
SUNDAY – October 20th

The Catalinas, though known for Beach Music, regionally and nationally for the regional hits with “You Haven’t the Right” in 1967, mega hit “Summertime’s Callin’ Me”, in 1975, Dancin’ Romancin’ and Facts of Love in 1980. “Summertime’s Callin’ Me”, written by Johnny Barker has become the anthem of North and South Carolina beach goers as they struggle through the winter waiting on summer to arrive. This song is credited for being largely responsible for the new wave of “Beach Music” that started when it was released in 1975.
